ABOUT MONARCH
One of New Zealand's most anticipated hip-hop artists is here. Currently a resident of the Gold Coast Monarch has become a Queensland favorite, with his heart felt music, and his urban flavors. He has been a major part of the New Zealand music scene since being one of the first artists to be on the notorious Dawnraid entertainment label in 1996, known then as "Kindemson". Monarch has since gone on to start his own label, Phatlace Productions.
Monarch has performed live supporting a large number of high profile artists such as : Naughty by Nature, Run D.M.C, UB40, Maxi Priest, Goldie, Boys 2 Men, Scribe, Random.........and the list goes on !
Monarch is currently working on his debut album, "Pushing Thru" which speaks of the ups and down's Monarch has faced to get to where he is today!
